Over 2020 and early 2021, we gave around £1.25m in grants to the local charitable groups working tirelessly with those hardest hit by the pandemic.
Our grateful thanks to the National Emergencies Trust, the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, and our amazing company and family local donors, including the SEGRO Centenary Fund, Cambridge and Counties Bank Foundation, Anglian Water, The Co-op, The Richard Bonney Literary Fund, The Rutland and Melton Training Fund, The Wesleyan Foundation, The William Colton Youth Sports Fund, Highcross Leicester Giving Project, The CAP Fund, The Hanwill Fund, The Maud Elkington Charitable Trust, The Barbara Keene Fund, The John Salmon Fund, The Ben Lazarus Fund, The Ian and Caroline McAlpine Fund, The Bill and Jean Richmond Foundation, Women In Philanthropy and a number of equally generous anonymous funds and donors.
Our emergency grant giving is now drawing to a close. Many communities are still deeply affected by Covid-19, and we are working as hard as ever to develop and distribute philanthropic and other grants to the smaller charitable and voluntary groups continuing their great work in those communities. Head over to our Apply For Funds page for a list of open grants programmes.
If you a person, family or local company who would like to help by setting up your own personally named and directed fund with us, to support the causes you care about in the knowledge that your support is reaching those who need it, please do get in touch.
