The Bill and Jean Richmond Foundation made a grant to a project called Broadband Aid run by The Schools Development Support Agency. This project provided children with the technology to enable them to continue with their education through on-line learning during the lockdown. Those children who received new tablets were in families with parents who were working but on a low income and so struggled to fund the technology needed themselves.
