As we are helping more and more people in our local community, we need more help too!
The Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation work across Leicester City, Leicestershire & Rutland and are based in Leicester City Centre. We will offer support, guidance and the opportunity to be part of an organisation making a real difference where you live.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us in the following areas:
Events Administrator – Volunteer post -Various Hours
Due to an increase in our events calendar we require an organised and self-motivated individual to assist us with arranging and co-ordinating our major donor events.
The role will include, collating data, sending out information (mail and emails), receiving and responding to emails, liaising with venues, caterers and speakers and co-ordinating the end event.
The hours required will be on an ad-hoc basis but you must be committed to working with us during the academic year 2013-2014.
Design and Marketing Assistant – Leicester
Volunteer Post – approximately 4 hours a week
This is to assist with marketing materials and presentations.
We are a small team working to raise the profile of the work we do across Leicester City, Leicestershire & Rutland and are looking for some assistance with the design and marketing of our brand.
You must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft, particularly excel, along with presentation software and your own access to the packages.
Administrator – Leicester
Volunteer Post – Working Thursday and Friday 9.30 – 4.30
This is to assist with increased workload.
We are a small team working to provide funding to local charities and voluntary groups. We require an administrator to assist with basic administration duties including data entry onto an in-house database, taking phone calls from groups requiring assistance with form-filling, creating basic spreadsheets, filing and general office duties. The working day must be these days due to resources.
Volunteering with us will be a great chance for an individual to gain some valuable work experience and knowledge of our marketplace.
