On the 24th August 2014, Leicester market will be taken over by local community organisations, clubs, societies and voluntary groups. Groups will be promoting their organisations to the people of Leicester and Leicestershire, showcasing what goes on in and around Leicester city and county.
The event is now into it’s fourth year and alongside the showcase of organisations, clubs and societies will also offer street performers, musicians, dancing and food!
Those interested in attending will be able to:
- see what’s going on in your neighbourhood
- get involved with a local group
- discover new activities
- become a volunteer
- join a club
- find a new hobby
- come and have some fun!
Those interested in promoting their organisation will be able to:
- sign up new members
- recruit volunteers
- offer services
- announce events
- network
