Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation is a charity which encourages and enables private giving. We set up charitable funds for families and companies, and we distribute grants to any charitable cause chosen by the donors. We specialise in supporting smaller “unbranded” charitable groups which help keep our local area thriving. We deliver grants programmes for Comic Relief, Big Lottery and others. We are one of 48 accredited UK Community Foundations, working independently but similarly.

We’re currently recruiting for a Finance Manager and Communications Officer.

Finance Manager

We are looking for a qualified accountant who is enthusiastic and personable to manage all areas of the constant flow of funds in and out of the Community Foundation, from public, private individual and corporate sources, and support the CEO and Board in related operations.

Communications Officer

Your role will be to co-ordinate communications and related operations in relation to donors and other existing/potential stakeholders. You will be responsible for donor and membership tracking, scheduling, and written and verbal communications, creating reports for various audiences. You will manage, support and attend all our events, and work with aspects of our design, print website and social media. You will support the CEO and Board, including preparation for presentations and attendance at meetings.  Your role will focus on high-level data management for all tasks, and you will maximise use of our database, Salesforce on a daily basis.
